Lichfield Archers

Lichfield Archers are a friendly and enthusiastic archery club, one of the largest in the country. First established in 1846, Lichfield Archers are based in the Staffordshire Cathedral City of Lichfield and shoot at Christian Fields, (WS13 7JU). The Club is affiliated to Archery GB and the Staffordshire Archery Association and shooting takes place under their rules. We promote all styles of target archery with Recurve, Compound, Longbow and Barebow archers are all welcome at the Club.

Members benefit from some of the best facilities in the country with the Club having its own clubhouse with an indoor 20 yard range allowing 24/7 shooting its also has a large outdoor shooting field with distances up to 100 yards.We cater for all ability archers and have recently improved our facilities to enable better access for disabled archers. Membership ranges from 120-150 archers including a large number of junior members.

The club organises monthly competitions (“Round of the Month”) for its members, with some also taking part in Open Competitions, Inter-Club, County and National events.
